Sometimes you meet someone in your life that just drastically changes it. Sometimes its for the worse but once in a while it’s for the better. This time I got lucky. This year I met a kid named Amal Abraham. Ever since he got recruited into yearbook life has just been so much better. He’s like the sun among storm clouds. Sometimes i’ll walk into that class sad because my day was so bad, but then I see his bright smile and i just know everything is going to be alright. Some may call it love but I call it destiny. I don’t think i’ll ever get senioritis because i look forward to seeing him everyday too much. I wake up everyday knowing that I’ll see his bronze skin, silky hair, luscious lips, and just that contagious laughter never fails to make me smile. I know that we’ll be going to college soon and that we’ll part, but I comfort myself knowing that even if it was just for a year I had the luck to know him. Even if the world ends in 2012 i can die happy knowing that my friend, hopefully in the future something more, is awesome and he hugged me.
